Subject: safari bar on a 4 X 2 ? IP: Logged
Message: I've got a 2000 EX cab and really like the looks of the Westin Safari bar with 6" round lights. Even though my truck is only 2 wheel drive, would it look bad? I don't want it to look like a 4 X 4
wanna be.

Message: If *YOU* like it, put it on! There is no rule that light bars can only be on 4x4's.

Just think of those times you are at a signal, the light turns green, and the idiot in front of you is talking on their cell phone and sitting still. Just blast him with those lights from above. That should get their attention... hehehe

Message: I've got the Westin Safari bar on my 4x2,,Personally think it looks awesome. Plus no later than an hr. after putting it on my little bro plowed through the front gate, and it stopped us cold at like 10MPH. There was damage to the hood (got new cowl hood :), but the guard was ok,,,only needed new hangers that absorbed the impact. Saved the front end of the truck!
I'll be lowering it 2/3 pretty soon, and plan on keeping it on. Assuming there are no clearance problems.
I would say definitely get it!
