I have a 4x4 2002 CC and was considering the tubular side steps for protection. Any experience with whether they help or not?

I purchased a set of Dodge tubular steps mostly for that reason. So far so good. I think only lifted vehicles would get me.

It looks just like the factory, and much cheaper. I bought the "Pre-Cut" to get the tapered ends. Need to change my pic soon.

I have Grizzly tube bars on my lifted 4x4 and there is red paint on the driver's side tube, and green paint on the pass. side. I'd say that they work well. I installed them so they sit out as far as my tires.

Sorry, Charlie, but not a help for me. I've got the stainless tube steps for my 03 QC and have a big crease in the driver's side door. I think from a side mirror. Probably does help from the "door dings" but with truck up high it's prime for the little rice burner's mirrors.

I just record the license plate of people that park next to me. I've been known to mule kick up to $900 worth of damage on the door panel of a "dinger". Ding my door? I'll kick yours so far in you'll have to drive from the passenger side.
