 Subject: 18X8.5 Wheel Question

I really like the look af the American racing 18X8.5 Piranha's. The problem is they only come in 5.5" of backspacing. On a 8.5" wide rim I know this is not enough backspacing to get the tucked look, the tire and wheel not sticking out past the fenderlip. How much will the wheels stick out past the fender? If I do get these rims I know Ill have to get the R/T flares. With the R/T flares will the wheels still stick out? Thanks for any help ypu guys can pass on.

I have 18x8.5 sized wheels, and they stick out just slightly in the front... maybe 1/2 an inch. In the back, they seem to tuck in just barely. I'll be purchasing some of the R/T flares sometime though.

I don't even know what the backspacing on them is... I never bothered to investigate it since Tire Rack recommended that rim. I figured there was no need to find out... heh.
