ok i am about to lower my truck. I dont want a "low rider", i just want it lowered a bit. I am thinking of a 2/3 or 2/4 drop.(cant rememebr which one is level for a dakota.) my question is which is the best brand to go with for the dakota and where should i look for one on the enet for a good price. And also would a 2/3 or 2/4 be level?...........thanks in advance for any help

2/4 should sit level, I didnt think mine sat level
with a 3/5 so I added an extra 1" block in the
rear. sits at 3-6 now, and level!

Hotchkis makes the best kit (performance
wise) if you want comfort and ride, go with
Western Chassis or DJM control arms and
shackle hangers.

You should measure your truck's starting point. Some trucks may measure different. From there you can plan your drop to get what you want. (Measure from the ground to the bottom of the fender well where the center of the wheel at all 4 points on level ground.)

Most likely the rear is about 3" higher than the front. Then to get it exactly level your drop has to correspond.

If you have the money go Hotchkis!
