I have 2 12" Mtx blue thunder legends. I want to put them in my 1990 Dakota regular cab. What do u think is the best 2 truck boxes, a dual 12 enclosure, or custom built into the back wall?

Take a piece of cardboard and take some measurement of the back wall. Two twelves will be tight, but as long as you arent to tall, no biggy. Take the measurement and make your own box. Or go buy an empty set of truck boxes and throw them back there, they will do the same thing. Depends on how fancy you want it to look.

I'm sure you can fit those in there some how. In my 98 I have 4 - 12" subs in the cab faceing the roof at about shoulder height.

I had 3 JL 10w6's behind the seat of my 90 Dak. I had to move the seat up one notch and the back set straight up. It sucked, but man, those JL's POUNDED! I think that the older Dak's had more room in the cab (at least leg room) Go with one box, maybe have a middle part "hollow" for your amp, if you know what I mean
