Subject: front end cover (bra) IP: Logged
Message: I personally like the look and protection that one gives. Does anybody else have one, if so where did they get it. Mopar is trying to charge almost 200 for it, and I was looking for something a little cheaper.

Message: Might want to check eBay. They always have things on there for Dakotas.

Message: While a bra can protect your truck, remember one thing about them. The material moves all the time your truck is in motion. So after a while it can rub down & ruin the paint. I used to work at a body shop that did alot of paint work for auto wholesalers. First thing to do when the vehicle came from the auction was take the damn bra off to inspect the paint.. 90% got repainted thanks to the bra.

Message: I had a bra on my Stratus, and wore a nice little line all the way across the top of the hood. It looked good on, but in the winter when I would take it off (to keep the snow out from under it) it looked like crap. Not doing that again.

Message: If you want a bra then go in your moms dresser . . bras are for ladies not cars. If for some ungodly reason you do decide to get a "bra" then be prepared to take it off every weekend and wax the entire area it covers. That is the only way your paint will stay in good shape. Leave the bras to the ladies!!
