Just received LUND's Exterminator 3 piece Bug Deflector kit for my new 2001 DAK QC.
The center piece install looks pretty straight forward: just loosen the grill mounting nuts and support screws from the top part of the grill. One quesiton: looks like there is some kind of addhesive or thin foam padding between the top part of the grill and the hood, is this right?
For the 'fender eyebrows' or two separate pieces, I'm a little more hesitant to start taking pieces off of my new truck with less then 200 miles...this install calls for removing the weather stripping...do you actually have to break the T-bar rubber piece off of the retainer clip, or is it the plastic fasteners you have to pop out?

I did get Lund's 3 piece Exterminator bugshield in with no problem, may adjust the hight lower (also covers the pax side Lund emblem) on the center shield.
Only problem is getting the glue off the inside of the center shield where they had a part number sticker...stupid, really stupid, as it shows from quite the distance
