Subject: 3" PA lift (steering adaptor) IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 Durango with the Rack&Pinion steering. I just put a 3" body lift from PA and cant tell how far i have the steering adaptor on the rack. How much of a gap should i have from the Rack to the adaptor. I have tried to use a mirror to see inside the releaf cut but cant get a good view.
I dont want it to come off wile driving, like i herd on one of the past posts.
Dont want to take it off unless it is not right.

Message: Mine had a little gap also. I think thats alright. If you try pounding it in, you might jack up the rack and get some leakage down the road.

Message: a have the 3" p.a. body lift ,theres a gap,i purposely left mine that way to allow for extra play just in case! just tighten the two bolts well, and youll be fine.its not gonna fall off dude, ive been off roading im my dak four times since the lift, the only problem ive had from it was a hole in my brake line.easy fix!so be sure to ziptie all your brake lines, unless you want to loose your brakes off roading!

Message: I checked mine is soon as I found your post about brake lines rubing. I found mine close to rubing on the A-arm, so I bent them back away from the metal.
