Message: Add-a-leaf was way to stiff for me and I am taking them off to put blocks in instead. 1.5" is what others use but THRASH1 uses a 2" lift block. I am putting the 1.5" lift blocks on tonight. We both have cranked torsion bars.

Message: I'm have cranked torsion bars, and thinkin about add-a-leafs. I run 33's so they rub a little in the rear, and I don't want to trim like I did the front. what brand of springs did you use that made it so stiff?

Message: They might break in after a while, i only left them on for 1 week. The bolcks and add-a-leafs both raise the truck 1.5", but I have nothing in my bed so the ride was rough. I already noticed a difference in rear end being more like stock and less like an old truck bounce. I am also running 33's on stock rims with a body lift. Good luck hope my experience helps you to adviod buying both like I did. OOPS $$$

Message: I called 4wheelpartscenter in georgia, that's where I live, and they said they have 1.5 inch pro-comp add-a-leafs for 50 bucks. that's not bad, but I have some knowledge of doin stuff to my truck, but have never done leaf springs. are they hard to put in, cause the quote on them putting it in was 140 friggin bucks. no way, that's almost 3 times the worth of the springs. if they're easy I'll put em in myself. help is nice.

Message: I am a mechanic at my fathers automotive repair shop so it was easy for me. Find a friend with a floor jack and a set of jack stand with a large tool box. You bring the beer and you both can do it in a few hours.
