 Subject: anyone w/ lifted dakota 4x4, HELP!

I recently got a 3" body lift installed on my 97' dakota 4x4. It looks awesome but, I have an interior problem. I let a company install my lift and when they extended my 4x4 shifter, they cut the skirting around the stick and now it looks like crap. Does anyone know how to fix this or how they sought out this problem. the look of my interior is as inportant as the outside and I cant have it looking like this! Thanks

I just did one on my '99 4x4 and I never had to cut anything around there, everything just slides off. I think you are SOL now, you may have to go to your local dealer or autoparts store and look for a new one. Someone else may have a good idea though, sorry!

yah if it where me ida taken it back and made the peeps that installed your lift fix what they ripped, thats total BS for them tear your truck up and not be responcable.
