There is no such thing as a good susp. lift for G3 Dakotas. Buy a body lift and throw on a set of 32 or 33" tires.

Steve I just sold my '01 Dakota because of that lift..
I don't know anyone that's kept there truck after that lift for more then 4 months.

With there smallest lift 4.5" (the one I had) the new angle of the front drive shaft is to great for the U-Joint & CV-Joint to handle. With the 9" lift... I can only imagine.. There is no WAY! even with a custom drive shaft (which I had) can handle those angles.

Your best bet is to go to a local shop and price a solid axle swap. True it will cost about $5,000 but if you look @ how much I've spent and all the problems I still had. It's cheeper. I probably droped about $8,000 or more on this lift I've decided not to add up the actual number because I have guns in my house ;-)

Don't trust those guys.. They'll tell you anything you want to hear to get there hands on your money. And trust me they have it set up so you can't get back at them finantially.. It's a crock. Look how many times they've changed there name just to avoid bad publicity. AIM Industries, Truckin Suspension, Truck Suspension Designs, Blow Jack, Puma Sales. It's all the same company I'm sure they have more names but I can't remember them because I've tried to block those morons out of my head....

.. They could have made so much $$ with this lift if only they made something with quality .. I trusted them even though everyone I talked to recomended against them and they did exactally what those people tried to tell me they would.

Basically .. STAY AWAY FROM TRUCKIN' SUSPENSION and anyone they even remotelly affiliate with.

Now you see why you don't see many lifted Dakotas.

I love my truck but I am very dissapointed in the lack of after market support. Especially from the big companys like Rancho and Superlift. Hell, Superlift has a 4 inch lift for the little POS Ford Sport-Trac. Give me a break.

Like I said, I love my Dakota. This is my second one. I finally resigned to putting a body lift on for looks only. I don't wheel with it anyway. It's just to get me to the slopes in the winter and tow my real 4 wheeler to the Rubicon in the summer.

Good luck
