How would one go about getting the inner tie rod end seperated from the relay rod???? And also, how does one go about seperating the relay rod form the pitman arm and the idler arm. I've tried to use a puller but it is not working!!!! Help me please...

I think it requires a special tool that you can rent at an AutoZone, Pepboys, etc. You do not want to use and "pickle fork" for seperating anything on the front end of our Daks, it tears the hell outta the rubber boots that hold grease making a mess and soon after the part will fail from lack of lubrication.

Thanks much! I didn't have the right tools last night when I tried, wrenchs I was using were to small. This morning before I woke up my dad found the right tool (pipe wrech) and took them apart for me. It's amazing when you have the right tools! 2 1/2 days of working and my lift is almost done. just need to tighten the bolts in the front end and put the torsion bars back on! Should be done by tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully!
