Subject: 3" body lift questions IP: Logged
Message: Im thinking about putting a 3" body lift on my 00 quad cab 4X4. What is the cheapest place to get the kit. Also will I be able to fit a 33X12.50 if I lift it and I have aftermarket 15X8 rims?

Message: 33's will fit, but it depends on what backspacing your aftermarket rims are on how much, if any, rubbing you have. Cranking the torsion bars some will help too. I am going to order my lift, rims, and tires from 4wheelparts. They seem to have pretty good prices. If you get the lift, don't forget to order lift lips as well to cover the gaps and protect parts of you engine through the whee well.

Message: When I bought my rims they said they were standard backspacing. They seem to be a little bit offset but they said that is just because they are wider than the stock ones.

Message: Hey 97_blk_dak, check out summitracing.com, they have the lift for the Dak for about $25 cheaper. I am probably going to be ordering mine from there soon. Can't wait!!
