Subject: Question on V6 headers and body lift?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 97 CC V6 auto 4x4 with a PA 3" body lift. Does anybody have the same setup but with headers. If so is there any problems with clearance for the headers or is there enough room? Or if nobody has this set up with headers does anybody know if I would have problems with clearance for the headers.

There shouldn’t be any issues because the headers are bolted to the engine and the exhaust system is attached to the frame. A body lift doesn’t change any of that. You’re just increasing the existing clearances by the amount of the body lift so it actually gives you more room.

I have both a 3 inch Fab tech kit and a 3 inch PA body lift with the headers and I can't see any problems what so ever with the headers interferring with anything. Shouldn't be a prob. Greg
