Blah.. I can't believe this.... ALL our Dakotas kick serious ass. Blizzards is my favorite at the moment.. but once I still his engine and his hood.. ;-) Then it's a differen't story.

There's a lot of y'all out there whose trucks I like. My personal favorite is mine, even though it's not complete yet...still need the hanson bumper and a black can-back topper and it'll be much closer to being complete.
Lets see...
Hawkeye's is sweet because its a QC, same color as mine, and I stole his wheels...or at least bought the same ones. And his is lifted. 'nuff said there.
Knobby's is nice because he's got the most lift for a 2000+ and it looks sharp.
Dweishaar...Wow! Those are some serious flares! Not my speed, but it looks nice.
I nominate RESQReady's for the "Dakota with the most lights and other gadgets" award. Besides the fact that I love his bumper and the simple black & white look he's got going on, you should see his center console...it's this SWEET custom job with a whole mess of built in toggles for all his lights and other gadgets.
And while I'm at it...
I nominate ForeXfour for the most ingenuity award, for managing to stuff 33's in the fenders of a stock-height truck.
I also nominate Arthur for the "no fear" award, for his attitude at Pismo. If he doesn't get that award, he'll definitely get the award for the "best performance designed to embarass another guy in front of his wife/girlfriend" for the way he repeatedly went up this hill another guy in a Montero Sport couldn't make, all while the Montero driver's wife/girlfriend was watching. Then Arthur goes almost all the way up the hill IN REVERSE just to slam-dunk this guy's ego. I still laugh about that!!

Thanks for the award Dan!
I must admit i am very partial to your truck Dan for its simplicity and 3" lift. Dan gets award for best use of rhino-lining i've seen so far.
Knobbyman gets most height award, i want a suspension lift! Sweet rear bumper by the way!
Both RESQready and ForeXfour get the coolest stock height truck award for those bad a$$ bumpers and just overall cool set-ups. I mean, one has all the goodies and the other has 33's on a stock suspension!
TallQuad gets my vote for 2WD, and dweishaar is in a close second.
I appreciate the balls out award Dan, love to get a little recognition for all the stuff i put my poor truck through. Oh, and so you know, i made it up that huge dune in reverse last time we were out. The problem was i needed to go at it in 4HI not 4LO so i could get the speed up. Made some blonde chick in a 6" lifted Chevy with 35's look bad cause she thought she was all cool going up the dune in drive. Then she tried to race me up it. SO i laughed...pulled next to her facing away from the dune...smiled at her...kicked it into reverse and flew up that sucker. She drove off shortly after. God i love being young and stupid!

I gotta say... I have a really hard time picking just one Dakota out here! We all seem to a different mods and features which make each of our trucks unique. Bernd got me hooked on the Fabtech lift (when he had it), Hawkeye and Viper paved the path for me with the PA body lift, and Knobbyman's truck just makes me wish I had the 4x4. So my votes go out to you guys!!
Dweishaar, the truck looks great with the painted fenders! It looks taller than only 3"!

yeah, i gotta say tall quad has a good point. like i said, we drive dakotas. no matter how much i bend up/scratch/ding/plasma off of my dak, every time i walk out to my truck, i find my self thinking.......DAMN, thats an awesome truck.
and tall, i just checked out your truck today. and it looks pretty damn good. you done us 4x2's gooooooood. looks very nice. i'd like to know how it handles the dirt.

I agree with the no fear for Arthur and The most gadgets for DJ but I would think that for that award they gadgets should WORK! Sorry DJ!

I think that there are ALLOT of SWEET Dakota's on this board and no way could you pick one. You have the no Chrome guys and the Chrome guys.
Some like there tires sticking out past the fenders. This site gives everyone a great opportunity to see and decide what they like. I Love going to everyones sites and seeing there stuff.

Well, I havent had all the problems with it and the lift that so many have spoke of so there must be somethong wrong with it. It doesnt look as good as everyone elses. Etc. etc. etc. I mean with your lift Knobby, Blizzards hood, ForeXfour abd RESQReady's Hanson bumpers, etc., I just cant hold a candle.

I think Hawkeye is gonna start eyeing the 2004's. Maybe Dodge will get it right this year. I know I am thinking about a '04 maybe.
Suspension lift possibilities, Tow hooks, new front suspension, maybe they have started to incorporate some of these items for that model year. Anyone know yet?
