Just wondering if anybody knows where you can get a 3-4 inch body lift kit for a 92 ext cab v8 4x4 dakota. I've had trouble finding them online. Looking to spend around $200. Thanks, Chuck.

you can get a 3in trailmaster body lift from tyres1. com. i've got it on my 94 ext cab v8 4x4. they only cost $66 there. just as a side note, the kit comes with front relocation brackets, but not rear ones, so you'll have to figure out something if you want to move up the rear bumper. i just had a welding shop make me some custom brackets.

Thanks very much for the help. I'll go to their website today. Did you do the lift yourself and how long did it take? I'm planning on doing it on my own. Also, I heard you have to do some radiator and fan shroud work to make the kit work. Thanks, Chuck.

On the 91-96 V8 Dakotas, when you lift the body 3”, the stock-cooling fan will have a clearance problem with the lower radiator hose. Most common solution is to replace the fan with an electric unit.
