Where has everyone been....Well its almost time for snow, I can't wait.....One of those ways to make a little side cash for mods....hehe....Question for you all though, how do YOU pull people out of "situations" w/o the tow hooks...i know some of you do now but when you didn't, how did you do it??

hehe...im still here too. Been out wheeling so havnet had much time to talk.
As for snow and making $$$... on my 98, there are two holes on teh front cross member that holds all the steering stuff. I got two tow hooks off of a 99 Ford F-350 (those big huge curled hooks) and mounted them right to the frame. They dont go anywhere. I think the frame would give way before the hooks did.
I also have a tow strap that I keep with me.
I usually use 4-low for the fact that I can put it in 2nd and let it go at idle and pull them out most of the time. You just get that little extra control that makes it nice.

Well, I thought I was the only one that wasn't posting all the time any more. I keep trying to think of questions to send out, but I hate to sound redundant.
I can tell you that the Dak is running great and their are no problems to report (which is a good thing, right?)
I am just trying to figure out which mod to put on the thing next. An exhaust or the V8 TB. Not sure yet. Any one want to help me spend my Christmas money/gift to myself?
I am getting an operation on Monday on my Achillies (reconstruct), so life driving the Dak should be interesting (stick) taking the boys to school, yippie!
Well, thats all for now, just waiting to hear if/when I am going across the pond and make Afganistan a parking lot!
