Subject: 2wd biggest tires with 2inch coil spacer IP: Logged
Message: I have a 00 dodge cc sport it came stock with the tire and handleing package. currecntly it is on 17inch rims and 255-50 zr17 tires. Im looking at getting 265-70-17 which is like a 31.5x10.50r17 will I need any lift to clear these? I plan on getting some 2inch spacers for the front and as well if needed.
I don't mind if it scrubbs a tad or if I have to do any trimming? My friend has a 97rc 4 banger sport and he runs 32-11.50 tornbirds on a 15x8 inch rim and in my opinion it doesn't scrubb that bad.
how big could I go with a 3inch body lift? could I get some 33-21.50 on it.
sorry for all the questions but currently my truck is a sport truck and I want to get a kind of prerunner look out of it.

Message: With just the 2" spacers you can clear 31's.
With a body lift you can clear 32's
With both you can squeeze 33's but it will rub. The best way to clear 33's is the 3" fabtech and 3" body lift.
98 CC 4x4, 5.2 Auto 3.55LSD 3" Body Lift, 1" Torsion Bar Lift, 33" BFG A/T KO's

Message: thanks, thats what I was thinking. know for another question, when looking through previous posts people had posted it said they were using the coil spacers for the 88-98 chevy 1500s, but when I go to daystars website and when I search for dakota spacers I get the spacers for a ram 1500-2500. which is what i want since the dodge spacers are 2inches and the chevys are 1-1/2 so which ones will fit? I'm thinking dodge spacers am I correct.
