 Subject: 3" Body + Gibson Headers

I just put on my gibson headers (love them), but I'm also looking at putting on a 3" body lift.
The steering column inside the engine compartment is currently about 1 inch below one of the tubes from the headers. I don't know much about what moves in the body lift, but if the steering column comes up, it will hit the headers right where the joint in steering column thing is.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix? Or does the steering column not move?
