Does anyone know where a set of 1" lift blocks can be found? I can use the stock U bolts with 1" blocks and any more than that is too raked anyway. I cranked my torsion bars and would like to bring the back up too.

1 inch blocks can be found at most auto stores. if not you can order them from jc whitney or summit or another similar place. And please DONT reuse the u bolts...always use new. I found those at autozone as well.

Watch out for aluminum blocks! They will eventually fracture from off-road use. So far, the shortest steel blocks I've found are 1.5" from Superlift. And, yes, go for new U-bolts -- if they don't have 'em at an autoparts store, most trailer repair shops can custom bend a set for you.

What's really goin' on?

Thanks ya'll. The auto parts stores seem to only have 1 1/2" or bigger. I'll check Summit and others. And I'll use new U bolts, they are only a few bucks, Im just cheep. Thanks for the tip on aluminum blocks RESQready.

I have an 88 dakota 4x4 std. regular cab 3.9L I just purchased 2" steel blocks from trailmaster. I was wondering if adding these blocks will cause any problems to the driveshaft or tranny or transfer case? I am going to crank the torsion bars up after to level it out thanx for your help.

what's wrong with using the same U-bolts. I konw it's not the same thing, but I put 1.5 inch Add-A_Leafs in the rear and used the same bolts. You people are so concerned with safety. it's pitiful.

And yes, to keep anyone taking this post personal I added this at the bottom because it is a cheezy internet joke, and for some reason people take it too seriously.
