Have any of you tried the new Pro Comp MX-6 Shocks?

I need to replace all 4 of mine and I'm wondering if the extra cost of them is worth it.

Or would you recomend something like the Rancho RS9000 or RSX?

Just curious I have to do this this week and the Pro-Comps are onsale.

I've got the rsx's on mine.. so far i like um.. Bernd is the man to talk about with the procomp shocks.. He swore by them when his truck was lifted. And turned a bunch of DML'ers onto them.. i think they were the 4000s series.. not 4 sure on that.. --Hop

I put the RSXs' on a few months ago and I think they are great if you like a stiff ride. There is definitely no body roll going on with these shocks and they work just as well off road on the trails.

Hey Knobby, I like my Rancho 9000s. The adjustable settings are really cool. They can make your truck ride like a car on the road and really stiffen things up off road. Just don't get the in cab adjuster. I've heard bad things about it. Like if the air compressor breaks down you're stuck with setting #1 which is real squishy. Manually adjusting them is real easy.

I picked up 4 Rancho RS9000's Yesterday. Greg's going to help me slap those on & blead my brake system today (as long as it doesn't start raining).

Thanks for all your input guys. I'll have pictures on my website a few hours after I'm finished.

I have the pro comp ES 9000s on my 02 4x4 and they are pretty good on and off road but i've noticed that the bushings are shot so i'm gonna try the monroe reflex i think or maybe rancho rs 9000(because they're adjustable).

Thanks Knobby. I'll see what they say. Hey, just to let you know, your trucks looks good. Hopefully soon I'll have my pics up and running. I'm getting a 4.10 gear and limited slip posi on it as we speak. Sure does look good with the 33x12.5 BFG's. Thanks again, Greg
