I have a 2WD 1999 Club Cab Dakota and am thinking about going back to the 16x8 rims. What is the largest size tire, preferrably a BFG All Terrain, that will fit without rubbing? If I were to do this, would it look ok?
What is the largest tire I can run with a 3" Fabtech lift and Eagle 589 wheels? I want to avoid a body lift...

I have a 98 2wd club cab with the 3" Fabtech kit and American Eagle Series 118 (15 x 8) with 31" BFG All terrains. I tried 32's but I would have to trim a good 1" - 1.5" off the plastic section under the bumper and inner wheel well. The 31's rub a little when backing but not bad. Looking back on it now I wish I would have done the trimming and went with the 32's, they looked a lot better. That's my 2 cents worth!
