Well gentlemen, I went to Dallas today to get my lift for my truck. With the help of a loan from my father and a very lucky summer I am able to afford a rancho lift for my truck. It came in two little boxes. Little but heavy. My father and I are going to put it all together thanksgiving I'll get back to ya'll then and tell you how it goes.

I live in Waco, but I go to Dallas everyonce and a while b/c my brother lives up there. I got your email awhile back sorry I didn't reply but I still have your address. I'll put the lift on Thanksgiving. I will let you know how it goes when we're done. Maybe we could plan a little outing if you know where to go. In Waco I'm clueless about the good places. If we were in San Antonio, thats a different story... My truck, 99' 5.2L 4x4 extended cab, Jba headers, homemade K&N, flowmaster 40 series single 3 in tailpipe, 32" BFG A/T on stock wheels, little tiny 3.55 rearend but would love to go to 3.92 or even 4.10 when I get 33" a few years down the road. After this lift, I'm done for awhile. I broke the bank for so it'll take a little time to recover. Oh yeah, it's a stick. I've got to go paint all the red parts that came with the lift black. Don't like all the red under the truck. It would be good if my truck was a different color but mine is green so I don't want it to look like christmas all year around. Yellow would be cool, but... it would get dirty every other day. Until then!

Doch what offroad places do you know of in san antonio? i know of a few like Devil's Den, and a couple places behind neighborhoods and in a failed const. attempt.

devils den ate my brothers 4-runner so I had to go bail him out in my jeep... mostly behind neighbor hoods. Along mainland there are a few places. The heb on guilbeu has a large spot... once again this was when I was in Highschool so I don't know about them now. Once I get my lift on my truck,(halfway done as of right now) then I'll go re-explore

I work at that HEB man, i see a bunch of ATV's and trucks back there, a few unlucky ones get stuck.

You might be right, but all I know is that I went back there about 2 to 3 times a week in my wrangler for about 2 years and didn't get stuck. Not once.

That is not my jeep that is my friends my brother has the 79 chevy and that ford is from a club called lonestar that is a custom 24 inch lift and believe my its bigger in person.Keep going to my web site it will be getting bigger every day. my name is Tony
