nice... have you ever seen the "Dakota Quad Cab Project" that peterson 4wheel and offroad did in 2000? it was SWEET! had 44.5" bogers on it and they cramed a 420ci small block into it... total custom suspension.. only think stock was the body and the frame

Told you it was nice! I had a funny feeling he might be ready to sell it.

He seems to be a pretty nice guy. Some people get weird when you start asking about something that was custom fabbed. They don`t always want to let out all their secrets.

Wolf, your wrong about that Dakota Quad Cab Peterson's built. It didn't have 44 inch Boggers on it they were only 40's and it didn't have a 420ci small block it was a siamesed big block 500ci wedge motor from mopar perormance. i know because i've been studing that truck for 2 months now making rough sketches of the suspension parts.

Well the guy that owns this beast didn't know about this site so I turned him onto the URL, he said he will try to jump on here and check it out so we may hear more about his truck from him in the near future.

Scott, he remembered you asking him about all his mods and your right about how some people get. He said he didn't really want to share all his secret's and he seems like a hell of a nice guy. I I can catch hm out and about again, maybe I'll see if he wants to run it out by the river or in an open field and we can take some more pics.

Steve,

I know you were asking Izzy , but I can answer your questions.

He lives in Rockledge FL, those are 39.5 Boggers , and no he didn`t make it to Daytona this year.

Did you go to Daytona? If so, did you see the SWEET Durango with 13in of lift sitting on 38 Claws! I took a bunch of pics. if anyone is interested in seeing them.

Scott

The Reason i asked if he went to daytona is because a buddy of mine went there for the Spring Break national audio competition and he got pic of a truck that looks identical to that one. i'd be interested in seeing the pics of that durango. I'm in the process of designing a whole new front suspension for my truck. I'm going with hardcore equipment, i'm going to make my truck all goo and all show. i'm working on the rear axle right now but i'm having a hard time finding the axles for it. I wanna run moser axles in the rear in a Ford 9inch housing and i want the to be 8-lug if anyone knows where i might be able to find them let me know, i'd really appreciate it.

Hey guys, I am Jake (the owner of this truck). I didn't make it to the last Daytona show, but did take 3 trophies home from the October Trux-Po. Out of 5 shows it has taken 3 first place, 1 second place, and 1 third place finishes with numerous other awards for suspension, stereo comp., etc.

Thanks for turning me on to this URL Izzy. I will look for more pics to share.

Jake, man, i love the truck, i'm working on doing the same thing to my truck. Who knows maybe next year if you do go to daytona for the spring break nationals you might have some competition. Are you running 1/2 ton axles, because i'll be running 1 ton. Anyway like the truck, oh yeah, where did you get your coil-overs from? Just curious.

Thanks Steve, if I still own it. LOL. We took the 1/2 tons out and added 3/4 ton. I've done some major pulling and snatching with no problems, so you should be good. I ordered my coil overs out of Cali. but 4 Wheel Parts Warehouse can get them.

Thanks again.

Sure thing Jake, after seeing all the questions about lift kits for Dakotas and seeing your truck often on my way home from Smelbourne each day, I couldn't resist posting a pic. Stirred up a lot of people after they saw it too.

KRC,

I never knew you all were around here. I live up in Port-A-John and have seen a black Dakota running around with KRC Performance stickers on it but thought they were just stickers for aftermarket products he added. Talk to the lady with the cute voice on the phone yesterday about where the shop was and she said you all were heading out to a show or something and wouldn't be back until the weekend so I didnt bother coming by.

I am wanting some help with my Dog....I mean DOdGe as my 4.7L is about as powerful as a 3cyl. Geo right now. Can't find any manuals on the truck and haven't gotten the 1 I bought off Ebay yet.

If it weren't for rain, I couldn't spin the tires.

Thanks Marty (KRC Performance). If any of you want more POWER in your Dodge's, go to KRC Performance. Marty has done some things on my truck, and will get your truck to do whatever you want it to do, and then some.

Marty, we need to get some of Penley's pics and info on here. They need to see some of that. Maybe both of our trucks together.

FYI. Regarding the red QC built FOR Peterson's, not by, can NOT be sold. I spoke to the company that built it in L.A. The cab and frame were giving to them by Dodge and told to "have fun". Dodge and other car company's do that to get people interested in new vehicles. The truck can never be registered or sold. It has no V.I.N. When asked what they are going to do with it after the shows the guy said it will be destroyed. That hurt.
