Subject: 4WD Shift Pattern IP: Logged
Message: ok, with the new 2000 NV231 Transfer Case, I have a light problem. My shift pattern seems to be differnt. In my 98, the pattern was as follows:
2H
|
4H
|
N
|
4L
Now, I cant find 4H, as the pattern is:
2H
|
N
|
4L
Did they change 4H and 2H on the 2000 models?

Message: For 2000 only, Dodge used a different 4X4 shifter layout from the 97-99's (as you show in your post), and from the 2001+ (dash mounted switch. From the front of the truck to the rear, the 2000-only layout is as follows:
4L
N
2H
4H
