Subject: ??Trailmaster or PA Lift??
IP: Logged

Message:
What 3in lift kit is better. They are priced slighty differnt. Is there anybody that know advantages and or diadvantages from one kit to another. I would be installing it into a 97 Dakota sport club cab 4x4 with a V6. I am looking to buy one this week and going to install it this weekend by myself. If anybody else has installed one of these without any help how long did it take you.
Thanks for the info.

The people on these boards are a treasure chest or information to all Dak owners.

well i don't know how good that lift is but you should always choose a susp over a body lift
i think anyone would choose a suspension over a body.....
susp lifts also look better not exposing the frame downlow which makes it look a lil higher....just an illusion though...
but hey so that you don't have to stress about it just throw both of them on with some 35's with 15x10's ;)
i wish i had the option to choose between a susp and a body...there are only bodys for my 2000+
i'll have to wait for rancho to hopefully come out with something

pa hands down!i have the trail master kit.
the steering extention on the trail master is 2 u stock welded together and then you cut the steering shaft and link this to the 2 cut ends.on the other hand you have pa which uses an adaptor that conects at the steering box and then you just bolt the stock shaft to the adaptor!
not to mention the the bumper brackets you dont get ones that fit and no rear bumper ones at all!
save your self a headache and get the pa.

98 club cab sport 5.2 4x4 durtydog is done dirt cheap
