Subject: 2wd Body Lift Pics/?? IP: Logged
Message: If any one has pics of the 3" body lift I would like to see them, TALLQUAD, your truck looks great. I was wondering though, do you have to weld on the extention for the Steering shaft? Also if man tranny, did you have to weld on shift knob extention? Any additional info would help, I am doing mine this weekend.

Message: Ahh man... if you have a manual... it's gonna be a real pain in your a$$! I did a full write-up on what to do (at least what I did) and its floating around this forum somewhere if you do a search. Short and sweet, I used a torch to heat up the "S" part of the shifter and bent it close to an "I" shape.
As for the steering extension, bjlindsey is right, just slip it on!

Message: Cool,Thanks guys I appreciate your input. I dont know what kind of instructions you all got with your kits, mine is kind of dry, no pictures or anything, and I'm more of the hands on type. Again thanks for the info!

Here are pix of my lift installation...i tried to take as many pix as i could, but got a little "hot" when it came to removing the lower fan shroud, which was a pain, and i forgot to take pix. Don't be fooled, i have a 3 inch fabtech lift too, it's not only the body lift. Hope the pix give ya an idea.
