Subject: final questions before lift IP: Logged
Message: Ok, so i definitely want to start out with a suspension lift...in your humble yet accurate opinions who is better rancho or fabtech? Also after staring at tallquads truck who knows how many times I am curious about the drawbacks of a body lift...and how will the suspension lift affect the ride quality with and without the body lift? My final question is about tires? What size in inches come stock on the 16" rim...I don't know what all the p265 stuff means. I love those eagle alloy rims that tallquad and quadman have but would I be able to fit those under my 2wd truck if I stuck with 31" or maybe 32"s? Also where does everyone get them at? Thanks for all your help...you guys are always great!

Message: I didn't think there was a 2wd Rancho lift out there.. If you found it there probably is and I just haven't seen it. As far as the tire size goes If your replacing your wheels & tires at the same time you could go down to 15's if you wanted to although I like the 16's myself. You can find out what 265x70x16 really is by going to the manufactures website and looking up the tire. It shows the diameter and width. Other then that it's really just a average size number. My 305x70x16's are suposed to be comperable to 33x12.5x15's but When I measured mine it's more like 32.8x12.8x16's .. Although that's going to change.. The manufactures website is the best source for that information.
Body lift will not effect ride quality where as changing the whole suspension will. Depending on the shocks you add depends on how your ride is going to be.

Message: Thanks alot for the feedback. I love these 16" rims that come stock but they wont work with the fabtech lift because of backspacing. I like the way yours looks with the suspension lift and stock rims.
