Subject: I envy all of you IP: Logged
Message: Man, i envy all of you with those 3" body lift kits. "Sigh", dunno when i'll be one of the cool guys with the body lifts. But i do have a couple questions though. IF i bought a body lift, but i decide to have a shop install it for me. What is the average price for that??? And, also, please say what are the advantages or disadvantages of putting a 3" body lift. (My dad wants to know) I have a 98' Dakota, ext. cab. Nothing has been modified to it and i want to modify it so badly. I'm getting the money rolling in from my summer job right now so, leave any suggestions please. :)

Message: your pay $200-300 for someone else to install a body lift, you should do it your self its not really hard with basic tools, get your dad to help, advantages= you can see the road better, room for larger tires witch will give you more ground clearance, easyer to wash the underside,......Disadvantages only one, you need a step ladder to wash your wind shield.

Message: Drew - Only difference is the transfercase linkage it'll be alot easier on your truck. Don't forget though.. There is more then what is on Dakota's webpage. But it's not bad at all. I'm going to try and scan all the instructions and post them on my webpage but that's ALOT of instructions to be posting. Hopefully I can find it in PDF format.

Message: Knobby....Here is a copy of the e-mail I got from PA regarding Body Lift instructions:
Hi Brian,
I am writing for two reasons one is too make sure I have your email correct.
The other is to find out if your email can handle a 40MB file as a PDF? That
is the current size of the instructions in digital format.
