Subject: Pic of 3" body lift w/ front hitch IP: Logged
Message: Just posting this for someone else!!!!
Hey BJ,
Check this out, much improved. I wanted to post this pic on Dakota Message Board. Couldn't figure out how to do it. A friend's dad is a welder. He modified the hitch to fit better. Oh you can't see the hitch?? Perhaps it's behind the license plate bracket. His fab guy is going to fab a step up for my winch mount. He said he was going to do this with 3" steel tubing. He assured me it would hold during a recovery. The step up won't be ready for a couple weeks. I plan on taking pics of the whole set up using winch. If you want details on mods to hitch or more pics email me back and I'll share.
I have to 'fess up. I am really a Durango owner. All the other Durango forums SUCK!!!. The DMB is just awesome. I have gotten more responses and valuable info from DMB. I hope you and the other guys don't mind. I figure if I want to share info and pics and stuff I need to be honest about it.

Message: That's my truck. No notch, hitch fits just below the valence. Actually the picture is kind of dark so you can't really see it. Half of the receiver tube is visable below license plate bracket. I need to relocate license plate. I'll take off the license plate bracket and take more pics. If anyone is interested email me at Dodster@attbi.com and I'll send better pics.

Message: Nice truck BJ. I don't know what it is but Quad cabs look good lifted. When they first came out with Q.C.'s I thought they looked dumb, but they do look good lifted. Off the subject, does anyone have a good pics of 2wd's with 3" fabtech and 3" body lifts. I have the 3" fabtech, looking at pro's and con's of a 3" body lift. I've seen Bernd's truck when he had a 2" body, before he dropped it. Looked good but still a lot of frame showing. Greg

Message: see tallquad. 2wd with 3"fabtech and 3"body is almost identical to a 4wd with 3" body.
