Subject: Coil Spacer Lift Impressions? IP: Logged
Message: To anyone who has run with coil spacers to lift their Dak,
What are your impressions concerning your daily driveablity, how the vehicle performs offroad (fields, trails, etc), and the wear and tear on your vehicle. I'm considering the Rough Country lift for my 93 CC 2wd.
Thanks for all the help

Message: Hey got them on my 1990 Dak CC V6 2wd. They were ok at first. A cheep lift that was fairly simple to install. Well, thats gone now. The spacers are starting to settle. I am loosing lift actually. Not much of course but enough to where my tires rub now, where at first they didnt. Id tell you to go to someone like AIM ind. and get a set of 2-3in lift coils. Only like $120. If you go 3ins, youll need upper a arms. Which they sell. But with a 2in, you dont. But its up to you. My shop said they were hard to install. And off road, I am always nervous to get air from a ridge or something for fear the sapcers will shift and down goes my suspension. never happened but I think about it anyways. I will be buying the 3in coil/arms lift soon and then have 3 full inches of lift. God luck
