I was just wondering about where to look to get leveling blocks and if they would work on my 1989 Dak sport, also I need new shocks and was wondering what a good brand is.

I don't know about leveling blocks, but on the off-road part of this site there is a post called
"Lets put this issue to rest for a while "
it has a huge inventory of write-ups on shocks for our trucks. The two most liked shocks are the Bilsteins and the Rancho 9000s. For write-ups and personnal testimonies on each shock, check out those posts.
