Message: No 15x10 will not fit. Maybe if you went to 31x12.5's on 15x10's but that'll be pushing it.

Message: will not fit on tires or fit on truck? because i've run 31x10.50 on 15x10 for a long time on my full size ford i had a couple of years ago and didn't hurt the tires at all.

Message: There have been a lot of rubbing complaints from people that are running 31" & larger tires mounted on 15x10 rims. Appears that the same tire on a 15x8 rim works way better.

Message: fla redneck.. I'm going to take this oppertunity to remind you that the Ford full sized truck that your refering to is quite abit bigger then our dakotas.
Do a test fit and find out for sure.

Message: Something else to consider is the truck is an `87
and they have even smaller wheel openings than the genIII`s do , I`m not sure if anyone else caught that or not. I think that 31s on the stock rims on that year truck would be cutting it real close!
I had 31x12.50s on 10in wide rims on my stock 93 Toyota with no rubbing , but that is comparing apples to oranges(like a full size Ford to a Dakota).I guess you could try it and trim the fenders if you wanted.

Message: NO SH-- knobbyman. let me that this oppertunity to remind you to reread what i wrote i was NOT comparing a full size ford to a dakota i was just saying that it didn't hurt the 31x10.5 to be on a 10" wheel.i know i'm a fla redneck but i'm not stupid.i know a full size ford is alot bigger than my dakota.you said the 31x10.5 would not fit but a wider tire would be pushing it.i can see were that would work!!!

Message: i had 31x10.5x15 on my stock rims on my 94 and they didn't rub with no lift. i don't think you'd be able to but 15x10 in rims on and have no rubbing. 15x8's would probably work out better

Message: flredneck ,after re-reading the original question, nowhere did you ask if it was O.K. for a 31x10.50 to be MOUNTED on a 10 inch rim. You asked if it would fit on your truck without a bodylift...what would the backspacing of the rim have to do with how the tire fits the rim?
Perhaps you intended to ask that but it is clearly two different questions.
BTW... No they will not fit without a lift or major fender hacking and if you want a deep V8 sound , buy a flowmaster or dynomax.

Message: flanonredneck i know i didn't ask if it was ok to put 31x10's on 15x10 rims i know it's ok.knobbyman said 31x10's would not fit but a 31x12.5 would be pushing it.i didnt know if he was talking about the 31x10's not fitting the 10 inch rim or if he meant the 31x10's on 10 inch rims would not fit the DAKOTA. backspacing has nothing to do with the tires fitting rims, but when you put the tires and rims together and put them. on the front of your truck it matters.i guess the best thing to do is forget i ever ask that question and just try it and see if it works if not i'll get a 2inch body lift.by the way what do you prefer flomaster or dynomax? i've read alot of guys don't care for the flomaster.what size pipes comeing out of the muffler 3 inch and what size chrome tips ?
