You all aren't going to believe this. I have an 01 QC that I've been getting my ideas for mods from this site for months now. I've decided on the PA 3" body lift and 305/70/16 Xterrains on AR rims. My only problem was funding, so I sold my motorcycle on ebay. Well, long story short--the guy that bought my bike RUNS into my truck with the motorcycle and smashes my tailgate, brakes a tailight and scratches paint here and there. He said he'd get it taken care of with his insurance. He lives in MS and I live in MO and we made the trade in AR. Now he tells me that his insurance won't cover because he signed the title after the accident! He has no money left to fix my truck!! Now it looks like I'll be spending my proceeds to fix it back instead of getting my lift and wheels and tires. Anybody know where I can get a Flame Red tailgate? Cheap?

Do you have uninsured motorist on your insurance? You might want to take this to your guys..
Check e-bay or a junk yard.

Sounds like the dude shouldn't even own a motorcycle for other peoples safety... "But I thought this twist thingy on the right side of the steering wheel was the brake, oops". Sorry about your Dak, if anything I'd make him mail payments to you until he is even or kick his lilly ass if he won't.
He owes you for repairs, maybe he should sell his new motorcycle and pay for your damage?

oh yes a lawsuit
he caused the damage so he's responsible by law I think but then again it is a grey fuzzy area unfortunately I think but don't quote me on this that because you owned the motorcycle when he caused the damage I think that means that you are responsible for his actions so then actually that shoudl be covered under your insurance, but then again you didn't cause the damage so maybe he is liable--- oh dear I've gone cross eyed.

Well, I just got back from over a weeks vacation, and I contacted my insurance guy and he tracked this guy down from the info I had on him from the motorcycle title and has talked to his insurance agent and TOLD him that this guy is responsible no matter when the title was signed. WHEW! Now all I need to do is get my estimates and get it taken care of and I'm back to Plan A. Hello lift and 33's! Thanks for the responses. Everyone on this sight is real helpful and knowledgeable. I was starting to think that I'd inherited Knobby's luck!!
