Just wondering if there are any other 1990 Daks lifted. Unfortuantely, mine is a 2wd so my 3in body and 2in susp only allows me to run 31x10.50's. Looking into a 3in susp lift by Aim Ind. Just wanting to know if there are any like me out there. Thanks

TigerDak, Aim Ind. is a truck customizing company. Web site is www.truckn.com. then choose I think the 3rd option down the home page list. I know they have front and rear lift and lowering components of 2wd Geni, II, and III. Dont know about 4x4s. Good luck. They are linked into Chassis Tech also.

walt did a lift on his gen 1 dakota 4x4. he used the trailmaster 4" kit for the gen 2's and made it fit. his posts are on here somewhere, and his website details the install.

yea i just got my 1990 dodge dakota painted n im lookin for a company that will do alift kit on it prolly only a 3 will fit with 31" tires f u kno where i can get it let me kno

hey Joe guess what they make fiber glass finders for our trucks now and how come you cant fit bigger than 31s on your truck? ive got 30x11.5s all the waya round now and on the front scrub at full stuff and w/ the steering wheel locked but im puttin 15x10 rockcrawlers on it w/ 2.5" back spacing ill get some pics up here for you. im also gonna do the 3inch AIM lift and 1inch spacers up front and probly some shackles and add-a-leave out back w/ fiber glass fenders but im tryin to find some big ole ones lol well ill let you know how it turns out

oh and i still aint put a lift on mine so its all bone stock w/ 30x11.5 TSL/SXs on it

You gotta 4wd right? Mines a 2wd. It hurts alot. I plan someday to swap a solid axle under it. But Now I could run 33x10.50 due to alot of fender trimming behind the front tires. But I think my springs up front are shot. So if I replaced them Id probably be better off too. Good Luck with your truck. Sounds like an awsome project and I cant wait to see picts. later

i gutted the cat cut off the exhuast right behind the cat took the A/C off and put a K&N air filter on it and i rebuilt the carb a while ago and put richer jets in it

You have a 87' huh? I have a TB. done a few things. K&N homebrew FIPK intake, edelb headers, Jacobs ignition, 88mm wires accel, no smog system, No cat, dual flowmasters, was about to go with limi slip and 4.10s.
It runs good but it resting right now. Talk to ya later.

yeah i got the holley 6628 2bbl i hope to make it like a pre runner and do a custom front A-arm job w/ coil overs 4link rear w/ coil overs a 9inch ford w/ 4.30 gears and finish product have like 35s up there and a 408ci stroker but thats gonna take a long time for me to do but it would be one bad 2wd dakota

Just bought a 90 Dakota 4x4 3.9l 5 speed
wanna lift it want a big lift were can I find one
gunna he offroad/dd wanna run up to 33's if
possible what's a good solid axle swap for it
want a good stance also it had a stock 231d
tcase I believe it was I bought a np231 tcase for
$10 works and everything will it work?
