Subject: where are the torsion bars located? IP: Logged
Message: I keep hearing about cranking up torsion bars to get an extra inch of lift in the front. But I cant seem to figure out where they are located on my 99 CC. Any help would be appreciatied.

Message: Really , what`s everone so up-tight about.I`d have to agree if you don`t know where the t-bar bolts are at , you shouldn`t mess with them , but DAMN! no need to rip the poor guy a new one!
Remember , if you do move them , you should really have your align. checked.

Oh well I'm sure there are plenty of descent people like the last tree that can help me along the way.

Message: Look at the times the three A$$holes posted... All within 2 minutes of each other. Geee, does that mean it was the same person? Probably.
The torsion bars are what hold your front suspension up. Behind the front wheels you will see long rods that connect to the frame. They slope up towards the rear of the truck.

Message: The bolt your looking for looks like the picture below
The black bar on the right side of the picture is the Torsion Bar.
