can anyone tell about the lower control arm?
i am putting on my fabtech lift this week sometime, and not really sure about how the lower control arm will look?
it looks kind of bulky on tallquads truck
do they make an after market for the '01 2wd?
or am i stuck with putting the stock arm back on?
i cant wait to get it done
its a black quad w/ a 3in body lift by the way.
i will post some pics when i am finished.

fwbFL, everything on my truck (other than the lifts) is stock. I have the "Tire & Handling Package" which might come with larger sway bars/control arms but if you already have that then you've got what I've got. As far as aftermarket... I haven't come across anything for that, stock works fine anyway.

Check with the Parts Dept. at the dealer or someone who knows if the arms are different, if so get the one I have from the dealer or junk yard. Also, I didn't take off the arm when putting the lift on... seemed like a waste of time for me, but you might find you need to. Just a thought!

Watch those brake lines!!! As you put on the new coils you will push those a-arms down REALLY low to fit them in. The brake lines WILL break if you're not paying attention!! Anything else I can help you out with lemme know. ;- )
