Subject: 33's or 35's IP: Logged
Message: I know it's early for this one.. but it's bothering me. I'm trying to figure out once the suspension lifts come out to either go w/ a 3" and 33's or a 5.5/6" and 35's. The only reason I don't want to go w/ 35's is well... I'd be hard for the women in my life to get up into it. They already have problems and it's stock. *They are all about 5'2". LOL you should see them get out when the truck is muddy... they get just as muddy as the truck. My truck would be slower & more top heavy. But other then that I'm all for 35's. So basically I'm wondering. Are 35's really necessary or are the just for looks?

Message: 35's arent going to take you TOO many places that 33's wont if you drive right. I like 33's on a daily driver because to me they are still very streetable, yet good off road. If I was building strictly an off road fun truck, then 35's for sure.

Message: I was thinking the same thing... But then there's the issue..... Do I REALLY! want to wait for a suspension lift? GAH!! I want this up a few inches so bad. It looks beautful coated in mud from top to bottom... even my bed has a nice layer.

Message: Ah yes. I am very familiar with that feeling. I have to tell you, I have been anti-body lift for a long time. Now that I have mine, I must say I am VERY pleased with it and can highly recommend it. Especially if you are like me and dont have $1400 to toss around. For now though, my body lift and 33's will get me pretty much anywhere I could want to go.

Message: are you running a body lift yet? If not I don't think the 5.5 alone will get you to 35's. You will also need different rims with the TC 5.5

Message: I wouldn't let the girl thing matter. Took a girl out one time all dressed up and we had a little time to kill so I took her on a little romp in the mud... needless to say she got very muddy trying to get out... i had a blast... It didn't hurt my standings with her... that much :)

P.S. Thank God I didn't get stuck!
