Message: Joe E. ... Depending on your Operating System there is a way around that...
Win98
Double Click on "My Computer"
Double Click on "Dial-up Networking"
Right click on your connection
Click on properties
Click on configure
Click on Connections
Uncheck "Wait for dial tone before dialing"
Click ok twice
Double Click on your connection
Click on Dial-Properties
Put 2 "," in the blank that says "For local calls, dial"
Click ok
Your done..
That should do it if you have voice mail or not.
The reason your dialup won't work is because if you have voicemail waiting it clicks a few times before giving you a dialtone. By making your connection not wait for a dialtone it doesn't care about that. The reason for the commas is because it makes your computer pause before dialing.
Any other Questions about dialup for me? ;-) I'm on a roll today @ work.

Message: Yeah Scott, Thanks. I cant imagine why you sold it. I actually sent an email back to you when I recieved them picts. I hope it sent it to you and not someone unknown. Thay would probably be pretty freaked out about all the "Thanks for the great Picts." things in it. But again, thanks alot.

Message: Joe E. Glad to hear the pics. finally made it to you.
As to why I sold it...My 10 yr olds legs grow more everyday and my 5yr old isn`t far behind.
The wife sold her Blazer and got a 2000 Eclipse
, so there went the family car. The old CC just wasn`t big enough (INSIDE ANYWAY) anymore!
Anyway , glad I could help

Message: Well Scott, sorry to hear you had to sell it. It sure was a piece of work! Id love to see that monster rollen down the road somewhere. I knew a guy who had a huge ford with 38s or something like that. After his family grew, he had to get rid of it too. So he sold it and bought a Ford Aerostar van. He was having IT lifted to run big meats. Crazy idea but I think he did it for the reaction of his wife. But it came out big. Anyway, thanks for the pictures. Have a nice weekend.
