Subject: Tire fitment? IP: Logged
Message: 3" body lift w' airbags in the back, ordering new rims and tires. What backspace on the rims do I need to run 33/12.5/15's?

Message: Well year of truck would help but i got 3-3/4 backspacing and i dont rub on the frame (not even close) but my tires are also 11.5 wide, and i had to trim a little on the fenders,because my tires stick out more but if you got a genIII your wheel wells might be bigger.So between 4 1/4 and 3 3/4 you should be good.

Message: Sorry, it's a 99 with a v8 4x4 and manual trans, for some reason I can't find a suspension lift for it anywhere

Message: You will find that when you want to modify a Dodge Dakota,nothing is easy, dont give up, ask around on this forum, look on the internet and call the mfg's and ask them about the manual trans aspect, somewhere along the line you'll find what you need, my truck is manual also.
