Message: I don't have a dakota, but a 1997chevy with the 350 in it anddddd what should i do, i want 33's, but i don't know how wide they should be and how much lift i'll need to fit them, thinking 2 inch body lift, but how wide of rims and what size rims do i need and how wide of tires do i need? I have no idea.....

Message: Brad. Sorry for picking on you, but this is a DODGE DAKOTA site. I don't know much about '97 Chevies, but I really don't think a 2 inch body lift would be enough for 33 12.50's. If it is it will probably be close. Just go with a 3 inch body and be happy with it. I know most suspension lifts for Chevies in the 3 or 4 inch range only allow 33 12.50s. Also a lot has to do with the MEASURED TRUE height of the tire. I can't believe I just helped out a Chevy guy!

is it 4x4 2wd or z71 a stock z or 4x4 can run 33-12.50 on 15x10's with just some turns of the torsion bars.
2wd should be fine with just 3bl.
