Subject: Cranking torsion bars on 3" rancho lift? IP: Logged
Message: Hello, I have a 01 dakota. its a quad cab with the v8 and i have the 3" body lift & the 3" rancho suspension lift. I was wondering if you can crank the bars up on the lift to get two more inches out of it and possibly add shackles/leafs to the rear?? has anyone done this? is it possible?

Message: I have 3in BL and Rancho also. I changed thew 2 inch block to a 3 inch block in the rear and cranked the TB another 1 1/2 inch to level it out. Any higher and I don't think you will like the ride. When I first installed it, I cranked the TBs up and the ride gets stiff. Mine is a daily driver so Im happy where it is now.
