Message: i jus put some blocks on the dak. 2in in the rear and i like it it looks really good. i was going to crank the torson bars and i got them moving but i still got to finish the job. are they suppossed be kind of hard to turn? bc of the weight of the vehicle or is it just me?

Message: Did you change the shocks after putting the blocks? If so, how can I find some. All the local parts store clerks scratch their heads dumbfoundedly when I ask for shocks to fit a 92 Dak with a 2" lift.

Message: yes i changed the shocks, but i needed them anyway. i actually got "rough country", and i like them, there a little stiff but whatever its a truck. and yes they do fine off road. i got them off e bay a set of 4 for 100$ and it says that it will allow for a 2in lift.
hope that helps.

Message: I put 2" blocks on my 94 4x4 still uses the same shocks, I did put rancho's on though. cranked new heavy duty v8 (on my v6) torsion bars all the way up. If you jack the truck up before crancking on them it's a bit easier.
you can see it here:
