i would go with 3.92 gears . i have the 4.7 with 32 inch tires and 4X4 and i have the 3.92 and it still has the power and gas milage. the 4.1 would be to low for your highway driving.

3.92 is a good choice if you're swapping in another whole rear, as that was offered factory. I wouldn't hesitate to go to 4.10 if you are going with aftermarket gears on a 4.7 though; and would like more performance. I went from 3.55 to 4.10 and saw a small mpg gain for the rev happy 4.7. You need to identify your rear end - while most v8s came with the 9.25, some came with an 8.25 rear. The 9.25 has a 12 bolt octagonal cover.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

I went from 3.55 to 3.92 (w/31" tires) and while better it just wasn't enough to justify the cost. I went with 4.56 and am very happy. I don't get the much freeway time but when I do I've upgraded the TCM to the 5 speed. Go no less than 4.10.
