Subject: doetsch 3/2 lift on 2x4 IP: Logged
Message: Ordered a deotsch 3/2 suspension lift and thinking about installing myself. I was told by a local offroad shop to order Baha 15x8 rims with +20 offset.I am worrried the tires will rub on the inside of the frame. Anyone else have this config. By the way , I have a 2001 2x4 QC. Planning on running 11.5x32 which is recommended by deotsch or 12.5x33 which is said to be possible. Holler back brothers.

Message: I have those rims 15 x 8 3.25 bacspacing . I have 4 of them had them on for about 6 months , they are claen If you're local or whatever I'll sell them 150 . I have 15x8 welds . The 32's will be tight , each truck is different, I run 31's and I have the fabtech 3" and the add a leaf in the rear . You're going to have to buy a set of balljoints for the front also . And to fit even the 31's had to do some trimming of the plastic inner wheel wells ..............

Message: I have the rims, waiting on the lift and unsure about what tires to buy. Doetsch says that the 11.5x32's are recommended, but the 33x12.5 are possible. Max backspace is 4.75 and I took the advice of a local offroad shop and bought the 15x8 ar Baha rims with 5.25 backspace off e-bay. Don't know if I can return and not many options for 01 Dakota's.

Message: send me an e mail and I will send you pics of mine and others . For 33's you'll need a 3" body on top of the suspension lift . I had the 15x7 and I sold them , would line up with the fenders 4" backspacing and would fit 32" with 4" back . I saw some rims at 4 wheelparts 4.75 back . I was told from fabtech no more than 3.75 back but I tried the 4" back the 7" and were ok more than that and it would rub on the balljoint and on the brake lines ...............I have welds sidewineders 289 , and the american eagle 589's , had the 589's 7" didn't like the look .
