Subject: Grille gaurd on a body lift.
IP: Logged

Message:
Hope to get enlightened before spending money on a grille gaurd. My question is fairly simple: I have a 2000 dakota sport, wonderful truck, but when I bought it, it already had a 3 inch body lift installed...Now I am wondering if I will be able to get a grille gaurd to fit. I am looking at the "Go Rhino 3000 series" which mounts directly to the frame and I don't know if its going to work with the body lift. If anyone out there know it will work or know how to make it work that would be great!

Thanks for your time.

The brushguard mounts to the frame so as you lift the body 3" off the frame, the guard will appear to be 3" lower than the body. However, any good welding and fabrication shop will be able to modify the mounting brackets so the brush guard will mount 3" higher also.
