Subject: Suspension lift for '04? IP: Logged
Message: Hi, would anyone know of a decent suspension lift or body lift for my 2004 Dodge Dakota 4.7l v8? I want to lift it and put bigger tires on it but everywhere I look I can't find one to fit my dakota. PLEASE REPLY!

Message: As far as I know you can get a bocy lift for the 00-up Daks and if you are so inclined you can also make the 3in Rancho suspension lift for the 00-02 Daks work on the 03-04 Daks by changing your front brakes to 00-02 Dak brakes, I mean all of the brakes too not just pads, calipers, rotors, brackets, hoses, fittings, and possibly knuckles.

Message: Hoist your truck and support it by the frame. Let the suspension parts just hang there.
1. Wedge som good sized blocks between the upper a-arms and the fender.
2. Wedge some good sized blocks between rear axle and frame.
3. Let the hoist down quickly to help "seat" the blocks.
4. Drive away high.
