Basically..
DONT INSTALL A SUSPENSION LIFT YOUR SELF!
ok.. now that I got that out. It's a real pain. I bought the first 4.5" lift for the '00+ 4x4 dakotas. The guy that was contracted by the company that built the lift to install my suspension lift bailed. He said screw it and left. I was then stuck with my truck on jackstands in my driveway.. I continued working on my lift only about 1 hour a day because of lack of sunlight until I got to the point where I need some other tools which I don't own. I had to hire a guy to come out and do some welding to fix the parts that the installer cut off... last thing I have done is had my truck towed to a differen't 4x4 shop to have them try and finish this install. They have not gotten to it yet and hopefully will be working on it starting tomorrow.. but that's just me holding my breath again.. They probably won't get to it until next week.....
Basically .. Do the Body lift.. it looks good it's cheep.. you can install it your self with a friend in a one full day. And you can fit 33" tires.
If your dead set on a suspension lift.. Wait till I can either get this company squared away. Or someone like Rancho or Superlift comes out with a lift. They make good ones and are not at all hard to deal with.
