Actually, I’m going to leave it alone for now. Only thing I swapped was the stock stereo with a MP3/CD player. When I eventually get to swapping the straight axle into the ’88, I’ll probably move my suspension kit on the ’96 after that. The ’96 is a 5.2 with only 40k and I was racking up too many miles on the Ram so I bought this to be the daily driver. My Ram already has 52k in 2-1/2 years and I only put 6k on it the first year.

if you do get around to the swap let us know, ive seen a few bronco axle swaps on gen1 and they did look sweet, cept the 3.9 still remained, although i saw one with a 360 crate, they had to chop the front end up a little and put in a smaller radiator and of course and electric fan, but one of the other sollid axxles the body was in very bad shape, i want to see a gen1 in good shape with 35-40 in tires
