Subject: Lifting V6 IP: Logged
Message: I was wandering what I would need to do to my V6 Dakota for it to be able to pull a 6 inch suspension lift kit and 34 or 35 inch tires? Is this Even Possible and if so what could I do to my Dakota to enhance its performace as far as pulling the lift kit and tires? Any Suggestions?
What do you think about the electric turbo/subercharger that goes on the end of the air filter? Runs about($350)

Message: You want to pull a lift kit? No sweat just tie it to the back bumper and drive.
Pulling those tires is gonna be a bit harder. Use a chain to pull them.
electric turbo/subercharger that goes on the end of the air filter. Save your money, It's just a squirrel-cage fan, very similar to the one that moves air around inside your Dodge.

Message: Well being able to handle the lift itself is not a problem. Getting the 35's or 34's to turn is a different story. I'd say your best bang for your buck would be to re-gear. As for the electric turbocharger thing...I think a $350 paper weight is kind of expensive, I'd put it towards gears.
